Evaluation is an essential part of every successful NSF Advanced Technological Education (ATE) proposal. This webinar, designed for both non-evaluators and evaluators, will introduce the basics of evaluation and provide practical guidance for developing a strong evaluation plan. We will cover what evaluation is, why it matters, and how it can benefit your project. Participants will learn strategies for writing evaluation questions, identifying indicators, and creating data matrices that connect indicators, data sources & methods, analysis, and interpretation. The session will also address how to find and select an evaluator or what to do if your institution requires waiting until after funding is awarded. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of evaluation and practical resources to strengthen their evaluation section in their ATE proposal.
