Are you required to have an evaluation of your grant? Never worked with an evaluator before? Not sure what evaluation even is? This video is for you! This crash course is for people who might be nervous, skeptical, or hesitant about engaging in evaluation. Viewers will learn what evaluation is, how evaluation can improve their project, and why they should be excited about evaluation. Evaluation should be more than just another box to check! Viewers will receive resources on how to get started with their evaluation, including writing an evaluation plan and selecting an evaluator.

Lyssa is the Director of EvaluATE, she leads the training elements of EvaluATE, including webinars, workshops, resources, and evaluation coaching. She also works with Valerie on strategy and reporting for the ATE annual survey. Lyssa is a principal research associate at The Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University and co-principal investigator for EvaluATE. She holds a Ph.D. in evaluation and has 7 years of experience conducting evaluations for a variety of local, national, and international programs.
