About the Evaluator
Regina Wheeler, M.A. is a Senior Research Manager at Pacific Research and Evaluation (PRE) in Portland, OR. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado. Since joining PRE in 2012, Regina has evaluated several grants funded by federal agencies including the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Departments of Education, Labor, and Justice. Within NSF, Regina has evaluated projects in the following areas: Advance Technological Education, ADVANCE, Enabling Partnerships to Increase Innovation Capacity, Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship, and Improving Undergraduate STEM Education. As a seasoned evaluator, Regina has extensive experience in all areas of evaluation but excels in creating compelling, user-friendly reports that paint a clear response to the research questions of interest.
