About the Evaluator

Dr. Anca Sala is a long-time member of the ATE community. She started out as a PI and Co-PI followed by becoming a mentor to college teams applying for their first ATE grant. The next step in her work with the ATE program was to become an evaluator, a role she has had for the past three years. She has completed professional development in evaluation and in 2025 was selected to participate in the ATE Evaluation Summit. Anca believes that these broader experiences help her deeply understand the work done by grant teams and effectively collaborate with them to deliver a high-quality evaluation.
