What was the purpose of the ATE Evaluation Summit?
The ATE Evaluation Summit brought together ATE project leaders, evaluators, and others engaged in NSF ATE grants to collaboratively identify and address persistent challenges and effective strategies in ATE evaluations. The Summit focused on encouraging creativity and innovation to create an environment where impactful evaluations can thrive. The goal was to contribute to the improvement of ATE evaluation by:
- Identifying solutions to persistent challenges in ATE evaluations
- Sharing out effective strategies
- Strengthening relationships between ATE project leaders and evaluators.
Through engagement in the Summit, participants gained a clearer vision of what high-quality ATE evaluation looks like in practice, insights into strategies and solution to challenges in ATE evaluation, and a deeper understanding of the role different groups play in supporting ATE evaluation.
