Designed for ATE Principal Investigators and ATE project staff who are preparing to complete the 2026 ATE Survey. EvaluATE staff will walk you through the survey questions and format and answer your questions. Participants who have previously completed the survey are welcome to share lessons learned and practical advice.

This community conversation centers on real-world experiences with evaluation planning. Members of the community will share how they make evaluation plans workable, flexible, and aligned with project capacity. Together, we will reflect on common challenges, useful adjustments, and lessons learned that strengthen evaluation planning and better support projects.

Balancing Rigor and Feasibility in ATE Evaluation

ATE evaluators and project team leaders will share how they make evaluation decisions that balance rigor with feasibility. Participants will discuss choices around methods, data collection, and analysis while working within real constraints of time, staffing, and resources. The conversation will highlight practical decision-making, thoughtful tradeoffs, and approaches that help keep evaluation both useful and sustainable in real project contexts.
