This crash course is for people who might be nervous, skeptical, or hesitant about engaging in evaluation. Viewers will learn what evaluation is, how evaluation can improve their project, and why they should be excited about evaluation. Evaluation should be more than just another box to check! Viewers will receive resources on how to get started with their evaluation, including writing an evaluation plan and selecting an evaluator.

Lyssa is the Director and Principal Investigator of EvaluATE. She is a principal research associate at The Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University. Lyssa holds a Ph.D. in evaluation and has over 10 years of experience conducting evaluations for a variety of local, national, and international programs.
