About the Evaluator

Dr. Shalee Hodgson is a Senior Evaluator and Education Researcher with Impact Allies. She specializes in external evaluation and research strategies for National Science Foundation projects and other grants. In her role, she designs and implements evaluation frameworks, conducts analyses, and provides feedback to project teams. Dr. Hodgson emphasizes collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance outcomes and support data-driven decisions.

With over 15 years in higher education and workforce development, Dr. Hodgson has evaluated programs and strategies across federal, state, and local initiatives. Her work includes assessing grants, leading improvements, and developing evidence-based recommendations. Her expertise spans Career and Technical Education, Career Pathways, Credit for Prior Learning, Competency-Based Education, Integrated Education and Training, Open Educational Resources, and federal workforce programs.

She is a Marano Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Sector Skills Academy.
